Privacy Policy

InPsyd is a family of services operated by Studio Balke / A Nice Yard, LLC for family members, staff, and invited collaborators. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, where it goes, and how to ask us to delete it.
What We Collect
- Account info you or an administrator enter: name, optional nickname, email, and phone.
- Your content: tasks, boards, notes, roles, goals, and the environments you belong to.
- Balance content: check-in words, intensity, needs, completed practices, optional release or repair lines, personal anchors, cooldown labels, and small evidence entries. Balance stores this in a separate service database linked to your InPsyd person ID.
- Sign-in data: one-time sign-in links, an optional password (stored only as a salted hash), and session records.
- Linked Google account details, only when you connect an account: Google's account identifier, email address, account type, permissions granted, connection status, and synchronization times.
- Google Calendar data, only when you connect an account: primary-calendar event identifiers, titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, all-day status, update times, and cancellation status. The scheduled synchronization window runs from 30 days before today through 365 days ahead.
- Google Tasks data, only when you connect an account: task-list identifiers and titles, plus task identifiers, titles, notes, due dates, completion status, parent-child order, and update times.
How We Use It
- To run the app: show your schedule and tasks, let people you're grouped with collaborate, and send sign-in links and notifications you'd expect.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- We share collaborative content only where the app's roles require, such as people in the same environment seeing that environment's tasks. Google-imported Calendar events and Tasks are placed in your personal Make My Day space.
- Balance entries are private to your account. The cooldown tool does not store the message or draft you are waiting to send.
Google User Data
Connecting Google is optional. Make My Day requests Google Calendar Events and Google Tasks permissions only after you choose Connect a Google account. It uses those permissions to show your schedule and task lists in Make My Day and to synchronize changes between Make My Day and Google.
- Calendar access: Make My Day reads the primary-calendar event fields listed above. It can create, update, or delete primary-calendar events when you make the corresponding change in Make My Day.
- Tasks access: Make My Day reads your task lists and the task fields listed above. It can create, update, complete, or delete Google Tasks when you make the corresponding change in a synchronized Make My Day board.
- Your sync choice: You can choose Make My Day, Google, or the most recently changed copy as the authority when both sides have changed.
- Gmail Send: InPsyd uses a separately authorized, InPsyd-controlled no-reply@inpsyd.com account to send sign-in links, invitations, assignments, and reminders. The Gmail API receives the recipient address, subject, message body, and an attachment only when the requested message includes one. InPsyd does not request permission to read, search, modify, or delete your Gmail.
Storage, Sharing, And Deletion
- We store the linked Google account identifier and email, an encrypted refresh token, the permissions granted, synchronization metadata, local copies of synchronized events and tasks, and the Google identifiers needed to match copies on both sides.
- Short-lived Google access tokens are used to call the APIs. Your linked-account refresh token is encrypted at rest.
- Disconnecting Google from Me → Google Accounts deletes the stored connection and encrypted refresh token. Local task and event copies already imported into Make My Day remain so your planning record is not erased without warning. You can delete those copies in Make My Day or ask us to remove them.
- Google data is not sent to Hack or Balance. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
- Our hosting provider processes encrypted and application data to operate the service. Encrypted backups are also copied to a private, operator-controlled backup server. We do not give service providers permission to use Google data for their own purposes.
Make My Day's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Service Providers
- Google: Optional Calendar and Tasks connection, OAuth authorization, and transactional email delivery through the InPsyd-controlled Gmail sender.
- IONOS: Server hosting and network delivery for the InPsyd sites and application databases.
- Twilio: Phone number and message content only when you request or opt into an SMS feature.
Security And Retention
- Data is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed; Google tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Operational backups are encrypted before offsite replication. Balance, Hack, and Make My Day keep product data in separate service stores where practical.
- Daily operational backups are retained for up to 30 days. A deletion may therefore remain in encrypted backup copies until those copies expire through the normal rotation. Backups are used only for security, continuity, or recovery.
- We keep your live account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Email support@inpsyd.com to request deletion of your account, Google connection, synchronized copies, or other personal data. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal compliance, or resolving a dispute.
Your Choices
- Disconnect Google accounts at any time from Me → Google Accounts.
- Revoke InPsyd's Google access from your Google Account permissions page.
- Delete imported tasks and events in Make My Day, or email us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
